Universal Engineering and Science College Signs MoU with Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, China
Lalitpur, Nepal – October 2025
Universal Engineering and Science College (UESC), Lalitpur Nepal affiliated with Pokhara University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), China, to foster academic collaboration and promote international partnership between Nepal and China.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Mandip Subedi, Director of UESC, and Prof. Liu Changjiang, Dean of the College of International Education, NUAA. The MoU signing program was held at Nanjing University China on 24 October 2025. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in areas such as academic exchange, research collaboration, student and faculty mobility, and joint educational programs.
Through this partnership, both institutions aspire to provide students and faculty members with opportunities for global exposure, collaborative research, and exchange of innovative ideas in the fields of engineering, science, and technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Subedi emphasized that this collaboration will open new avenues for academic growth and enhance the quality of higher education in Nepal through international engagement.
The signing of this MoU marks an important step toward building a long-term academic bridge between the two nations.
